What do you do at Mizuho?

I have just moved into the Mizuho Americas Financial Planning & Analysis group.  This is a unique group where we do reporting at the Americas level so we get a great bird’s eye view into the performance of the organization.

What skill or competency do you feel you've enhanced while at Mizuho?

Leadership, organization, and system implementation skills were the critical skills I learned in my previous role as a Third Party Risk Management business lead.  At Mizuho, the organization is open to your moving and assuming roles across different functions and even in my 2 months at Mizuho FP&A, these skill sets are applied every day.

Share one of your proudest moments while at Mizuho

My 2 1/2 years spent on building out Third Party Risk Management for Mizuho resulted in my winning the Mizuho Americas Award.  The management here acknowledges hard work which is wonderful.

What do you do for fun?

I play in amateur chamber music ensembles.  I also volunteer as a piano accompanist for kids and am currently working towards a certification at the Juilliard School in Core Musical Skills.
