What do you do at Mizuho?
I’m a recruiter of junior-level staff with a concentration on Japanese Bilingual roles. I’m responsible for generating reports regarding new hires, employee count and EEO as well as reviewing resumes, meeting with hiring managers, interviewing candidates, and communicating with our Workday recruiting system.

What surprised you about Mizuho?
The opportunity to advance so quickly in my career. I was able to expand my skill set by becoming the lead subject matter expert in Workday Recruiting with implementation and ongoing education.

How is Mizuho different from other places you've worked?
Mizuho is different because the structure is flat and allows easy access to management. When you work at a larger organization, you often feel lost, but this isn’t the case at Mizuho.

What do you do for fun?
Working out really does help the body and the mind. It helps me relax at the end of the day. But I also enjoy a good cheat meal. Being a Texas native, I am always on the hunt for good chicken wings!
