About Mizuho Bank Thailand

Mizuho Bank Bangkok Branch, Thailand, is part of the APAC Mizuho Bank operations and forms an integral part of the overall Mizuho Financial Group, plays a central role in the local Thailand- and Asia-based business of Mizuho Bank, Mizuho Financial Group’s core banking subsidiary.

As the parent company of Mizuho Bank and multiple other financial services subsidiaries and affiliates, Mizuho Financial Group stands as one of the largest financial services conglomerates in the world, with a global footprint covering over 100locations outside its home country of Japan and offices in all of the world’s major cities, including Tokyo, New York, London, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Bangkok. In addition to its global network, it also has listings on two internationally recognized exchanges, namely the Tokyo Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange.

Mizuho Bank’s presence in Thailand began in March 1982 with the establishment of a representative office in Bangkok, now our Bangkok Branch. In 1996, our services in the country expanded with our acquisition of a full banking license. Building on this history, in March 2015, we opened our second branch in Thailand, the Eastern Seaboard Branch (Laem Chabang). Currently, we have almost 500 employees from Thailand and Japan driving our business at our two local branches.
