We will be conducting IT system maintenance from Saturday, October 11, 2025, to Sunday, October 12, 2025.During the dates/times noted below, the services shown will be unavailable. We ask for your kind understanding and apologize for any inconvenience caused. The suspension schedule may vary by service. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your kind understanding.

Request to Our Customers

During the service suspension, Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Trust Bank cash cards cannot be used at any ATMs, including those of Mizuho Bank and other financial institutions and convenience stores.
Transfers via Mizuho Direct will also be unavailable.
During the service suspension, services such as adding electronic money (e.g., to J-Coin Pay, Mizuho Suica or PayPay) from Mizuho Bank accounts will also be unavailable.
In addiction, transfers to Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Trust & Banking accounts: Transfers from other financial institutions during the suspension period may be credited to the account on or after Tuesday, October 14.
We ask that you make necessary preparations in advance, such as by using ATM or Mizuho Direct and by topping up your electronic money beforehand.

The system maintenance is necessary to meet the upcoming maintenance deadline for our core banking system, which handles essential banking operations such as deposits, loans, and fund transfers.

Which services will be suspended?

Nearly all services will be temporarily unavailable, including:

Will there be any changes to the products and services I currently use?

There will be no changes to the content of our products and services. You can continue using them as usual after the system maintenance is completed.

Can Mizuho JCB Debit (for individuals), Smart Debit (for individuals), and Mizuho Business Debit (for corporations and sole proprietors) still be used?

Yes, Mizuho JCB Debit, Smart Debit, and Mizuho Business Debit will remain available during the system maintenance period.

I use smartphone payment services (e.g., --○○Pay), charging adding funds from my Mizuho Bank account. What happens during the system maintenance?

During the system maintenance, you will not be able to add funds from your Mizuho Bank account.

However, payments using the already added balance on the smartphone payment service can still be made during the service suspension period.

What happens if I transfer funds from another financial institution to a Mizuho Bank account during the system maintenance?

Transfers to Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Trust & Banking Accounts: Transfers from other financial institutions during the suspension period may be credited to the account on or after Tuesday, October 14.
