During the dates and times noted below, the services shown will be unavailable.

The suspension schedule may vary by service.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your kind understanding.

Request to Our Customers

During the service suspension period, Mizuho Bank and Mizuho Trust & Banking ATM cards cannot be used at any ATMs, including those of Mizuho Bank and other financial institutions and convenience store ATMs.

Transfers via Mizuho Direct online and telephone banking will also be unavailable.

During the service suspension, services such as adding electronic money (e.g., to J-Coin Pay, Mizuho Suica) from Mizuho Bank accounts will also be unavailable.

In addition, transfers from other financial institutions to Mizuho Bank or Mizuho Trust & Banking accounts during the service suspension period may be credited on or after Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Please note that Mizuho JCB Debit, Smart Debit, and Mizuho Business Debit can still be used during the system maintenance period.

We ask that you make necessary preparations in advance, such as using ATMs or Mizuho Direct, and topping up electronic payment services beforehand.

I received an email from Mizuho Bank regarding a temporary service suspension due to system maintenance. However, I have already closed my account with Mizuho Bank, or I do not recall having any transactions with the bank. Why did I receive this email?

At the time the email was sent, the notification was delivered to customers who had an email address registered with Mizuho Bank or Mizuho Trust & Banking. If you received this email despite having closed your account prior to the date indicated in the email, please contact your branch of account (for corporate customers, please contact the branch handling corporate inquiries). If you received this email even though you have no recollection of having any transactions with Mizuho Bank, please contact your nearest Mizuho Bank branch.
