Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd. (MHCB: President & CEO, Hiroshi Saito) has commenced handling of renminbi (RMB) at its Beijing Branch.


The Beijing Branch has been providing mainly foreign-currency-denominated financial services, such as lending and deposit-taking, to Japanese and foreign-capitalized firms. However, with the commencement of RMB handling, the Beijing Branch can now provide financial services denominated in RMB to Japanese and foreign-capitalized firms, as well as to Chinese companies.
