Mizuho Bank, Ltd. (President & CEO: Koji Fujiwara, hereinafter "MHBK") established a representative office in the City of Plano, a part of the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area in Texas, United States. The new representative office, which is controlled by Mizuho Bank, Ltd. New York Branch, started operation on March 26 (local time). MHBK now has offices in nine locations in the United States.
A number of companies have been attracted to Texas, in particular the Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area, due to its robust economic growth in the recent years. MHBK has already established a representative office in Houston to serve the financial needs of our clients. The second office in Texas will reinforce our capability to support Japanese and other companies expanding business in the region.
By upgrading our service network in the United States, we will provide enhanced support to our clients as they pursue their business strategy.
