November 10, 2025

Mizuho EMEA was honoured to take part in the Lady Mayor’s Show on Saturday, 8 November, marking a significant moment in the City of London’s history.

This year’s event celebrated the appointment of Dame Susan Langley DBE as the 697th Lord Mayor of London and the first ever to hold the title Lady Mayor of London.

Mizuho has a long-established presence in the City of London and continues to play an active role in supporting its growth and global leadership. Participating in the Lady Mayor’s Show reflects the company’s dedication to fostering strong relationships within the community.

The Lord Mayor’s Show is the world’s largest and oldest unrehearsed civic procession, dating back to the early 13th century. Spanning more than three miles and featuring over 130 floats, marching bands, and ceremonial displays, the event brings together thousands of participants and spectators to celebrate the heritage and vibrancy of the City.

Mizuho’s walking float was inspired by Japanese cultural traditions and featured bold flags, striking spheres, and dynamic performances from Taiko drummers and dancers. This vibrant display symbolised Mizuho’s values of collaboration, innovation, and community spirit.

The company was especially proud to walk alongside its London charity partner, Little Village, whose mission to support families in need reflects Mizuho’s commitment to making a positive impact in our local community.
