Q. What is Mizuho Bank’s standard interview process?
A. This process will vary depending on the nature of the role, though, in general, applications will be reviewed by HR and the hiring manager(s). Applicants may be contacted for an initial phone interview or invited to attend an initial interview with the hiring manager(s). Following this, applicants may be requested to complete online assessments and be invited to attend a further or final interview.

Q. There are no opportunities currently at Mizuho that match my interest, can I register my details for future roles?
A. You can register your interest by joining our “Talent Community” through the Mizuho Bank Australia careers site. Here you can provide your details, upload your resume and indicate your preferences so that you can receive job alerts when suitable opportunities become available at Mizuho in Australia.

Q. If I have previously applied for a job at Mizuho via the Mizuho Bank Australia careers website, is there a separate process for me to join the Mizuho Talent Community?
A. No, if you have previously submitted a job application through the Mizuho Bank Australia careers website, you will automatically be part of that talent community. So you may receive job alerts or potentially be contacted by our HR team for suitable job opportunities.   

Q. Can recruitment agencies submit candidate applications via the Mizuho Bank Australia careers website?  
A. Mizuho has a panel of recruiters that we work with, who have signed up to our terms of business. Depending on the role, the HR team will engage the relevant recruitment agency on our panel.  If an agency, outside of our panel, submits uninvited resumes or candidate applications through our careers website, these profiles created will be treated as direct applicants, in which case no agency fee will apply.

Q. I am interested in opportunities outside of Australia, where can I find out more?
A. The Mizuho Financial Group careers website helps guide you to opportunities that may exist across the regions in which we operate from.
