Post BOJ Monetary Policy Meeting - Video Conference Call

We invite you to join us for a post Bank of Japan (BOJ) Monetary Policy meeting analysis from Shunsuke Kobayashi (Chief Economist) and Shoki Omori (Chief Desk Strategist for Rates & FX); both from Mizuho Securities, Tokyo.

Since Deputy Governor Himino’s speech, the market has been sensitive to various headlines and the political noise surrounding the Liberal Democratic Party. At present, it is still uncertain about what the BoJ will decide at the December meeting. Mizuho will be carefully monitoring whether Ueda will hint at, or implement, the removal of negative rates.

Shunsuke will share his views on the implication of the BOJ’s decision for Japanese economy for 15 minutes, followed by Shoki who will discuss the impact on the Rates & FX markets, with some trade ideas.
