Mr Seibel joined the Mizuho group as Chief Executive Officer of Mizuho Securities Europe GmbH in March 2019.

He joined from RBC Capital Markets in London where he was Head of EMEA Corporate Debt Capital Markets since 2013. Mr Seibel has more than 21 years’ experience in advising corporates on capital structure topics including debt and equity capital raising, hybrid capital, liability management, securitization, acquisition finance and related risk management. Mr Seibel started his banking career in 1998 in the Media & Telecom Investment Banking team at Bank of America. In 2003 he moved to Debt Capital Markets covering corporates in a variety of sectors and countries. He has subsequently held roles at BNP Paribas as Head of Corporate DCM for Germany, Austria & Switzerland and then at UBS as Head of DCM Corporate Origination for Europe.

Mr Seibel holds an MBA in International Business from Darla Moore School of Business.
