Mr. Bennett was appointed as an Independent Non-Executive Director in December 2020.

Mr. Bennett stepped down from Fidelity International in 2018, where he spent 11 years as Head of Capital Markets for EMEA & Americas, prior to that he spent 13 years at Cazenove & Co., as Partner & Managing Director in Equity Capital Markets & Syndicate.

Mr. Bennett has a distinguished career in financial services spanning over 30 years, and brings with him a deep strategic understanding of the client business. Outside of Mizuho, Mr. Bennett currently serves as a Non-Executive Director for Harbour Litigation Funding, as Chairman of Appital, an early stage FinTech business, and a Non-Executive Director for GB Snowsport.
