Interview tips from 2021 intern Katerina

Interviews can be daunting, but with the right preparation, they can also be an enjoyable and informative experience.

Here are my top tips when preparing for your interview:

1. Know who you are.
   Your interview is a chance to demonstrate your relevant skills and experiences, so make sure you know what makes you a strong candidate. Use this time showcase your personality in an engaging way rather than just reciting your resume.
2. Do your research. 
   It’s important that your interviewer understands why you are interested in the organisation and role. As well as knowing what we do and any pertinent current affairs, make sure you understand the company’s values and how you align with them.
3. Ask questions.
   Your interview with Mizuho is not just a chance for us to get to know you but also your opportunity to get to know the team and see how Mizuho operates, so don’t be afraid to ask any questions!
