The 3-person N. American Medical Supplies & Devices team (includes 1 MBA, CFA charter holder, & former general surgeon) is known for its significant Wall Street experience (35-years), strong Corporate Access, value-added KOL events, differentiated channel check strategies, and breadth of industry coverage with 32 names under coverage across key industry sub-verticals (e.g. Cardiology, Cancer Dx, Diabetes, General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics). Key areas of differentiation include: 1) deep dive work on emerging technology trends (e.g. PFA, Nuclear Medicine, MIGS, Cancer Dx), 2) value-added channel check via direct KOL access or data mining (e.g. CGM TRx tracker, physician survey work), 3) and buyside sentiment surveys. Anthony joined Mizuho in March 2022 as a senior analyst based in NY, covering medical devices, diagnostics and therapeutics. Prior to Mizuho, Anthony was with Jefferies, where he published extensive thematic reports on strategic, financial and emerging technology trends. He has 18+ years of experience in healthcare research at bulge bracket and boutique investment banks as well as on the buyside at a long-only manager with $50bn in AUM. Anthony holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Pace University, Lubin School of Business, and a Master of Business Administration in Banking & Finance from Columbia University, Graduate School of Business. He is also a CFA charterholder. ​
