It’s been a very difficult year filled with unrest and intolerance. While present throughout the pandemic, recent news has highlighted increasing acts of prejudice and violence against those of Asian descent.

At Mizuho Americas, we continue to be concerned about the welfare of our employees. And, as always, stand with them and the community against those that attempt to divide us through intimidation and fear.

We want to assure our Asian American colleagues, expats, and all those who have experienced racism or discrimination of any kind, that you have the support of the entire leadership team. We are committed to creating an environment where every individual feels seen, heard, and included.

We reiterate our support to our Mizuho family and we remain steadfast in our commitment to condemning all acts of racism and discrimination in any form.
