John Panichi wins Excellence in Trading Award

John Panichi, Managing Director, Head of US Equity Sales Trading, received the Excellence in Trading award; Mizuho Americas’ futures desk won Best in Clearing; and Best Agency Trading Desk went to its agency mortgage-backed securities team.
Excellence in Trading: Panichi was recognized as an outstanding thematic trader who can correlate market trends and act quickly to offer actionable ideas to clients.
Best in Clearing: Mizuho’s rapidly growing clearing business was selected for its proven effectiveness in providing clients with best execution solutions.
Best Agency Trading Desk: Mizuho was awarded for its rapid emergence as a leader in agency mortgage-backed securities (MBS).
The award ceremony was held at the Central Park Boathouse in New York City.
