Gabe Moreen

Gabe Moreen has over twenty years experience covering Midstream, MLP, and Natural Gas Utility companies. Gabe brings close, longstanding relationships with managements and first-hand experience with the evolution of energy infrastructure investment in the 2000’s. Research is differentiated for depth of company updates based on comprehensive financial models, timely industry conference takeaways, and regular thematic pieces covering capital programs, oil and gas macro, return outlooks, and impacts of ESG. Regular collaboration with Oil and Gas (Nitin Kumar), Clean Energy (Maheep Mandloi) and Utilities (Anthony Crowdell) coverage teams. His team includes Robert Mosca, CFA (lead coverage on DTM, LNG, & VG) and Christopher Jeffrey, CFA.

Companies in Gabe’s coverage participate in the annual Mizuho Power, Energy, & Infrastructure (PEI) Conference and the annual Mizuho Mid-Cap Utilities Conference. He regularly conducts NDR and marketing events, including access to the Japanese investment community. Gabe is regularly requested as a speaker/moderator at industry events, such as the EIC Financial Forum, the Society of Gas Lighting, and S&P Global. His team hosts investors to annual industry meetings, including the AGA Financial Forum and EIC Financial Forum.

Gabe joined Mizuho in August 2018 as a senior analyst based in New York, covering the MLP sector. Prior to Mizuho, Gabe worked at Deutsche Bank, Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) and JP Morgan Securities. At BAML, Gabe was responsible for covering over ninety midstream energy and utility securities and published the widely-followed weekly MLP Maven, a report on trends in the energy MLP sector. Gabe has been named to the Institutional Investor’s All-America Research Team nine times. He is a graduate of Princeton University with an A.B. in Politics.
