Mizuho acted as Mandated Lead Arranger on a $1.56 billion financing of TC Energy’s natural gas pipeline project spanning eastern, central, and westerns regions of Mexico that received Latin America Refinancing Deal of the Year. TC Energy is one of the first private pipeline developers in the Mexican Market with over 20 years of experience in constructing and operating pipeline assets in the country. Its commitment to executing its activities responsibly, reliably, and collaboratively position TC Energy to maintain a global focus on sustainability.
In addition, Mizuho acted as Joint Lead Arranger, Joint Bookrunner, and Co-Syndication Agent on LS Power’s $850 million refinancing of Ravenswood Generating Station that was awarded North America Refinancing Deal of the Year. Ravenswood, the largest power plant in New York City with over 20% of the city’s generating capacity, is essential for providing grid reliability in New York City and is essential to the energy transition evolution.
