Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (MHFG) hereby announces corrections in its "Selected Financial Information for the First Half of Fiscal 2004" announced on November 22, 2004 and others as shown on the attached sheets(PDF/46KB).
MHFG confirmed that there is no description disaccords with the facts in statutory disclosure documents such as Financial Reports, "Yuka Shoken Hokokusho", for such reason as shares issued by MHFG are substantially held under another person's name. This confirmation was made by following "Voluntary reviewing of statutory disclosure documents such as Financial Reports" notified by the Kanto Local Finance Bureau on November 17, 2004.
However, since MHFG found some omissions and other points which needed to be corrected in its disclosure documents, it submitted "Correction Report" to the Kanto Local Finance Bureau today.
