Solicitation Policy for Financial Products

Mizuho Bank complies with the following four practices in marketing financial products properly to its clients.

  1. In addition to offering financial products that are appropriate for the client's level of knowledge, experience, asset condition and objective of the transaction, we will provide explanations that enable clients to fully understand the nature and risks inherent in financial products and thus enable them to make their own judgments regarding transactions.
  2. Never mislead clients by making strong statements containing judgmental content or offering inaccurate information.
  3. Never solicit clients at times or in places that are inconvenient for clients.
  4. Work to expand training systems and put internal rules in place that promote appropriate sales activities in accordance with this policy.
