Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (President & CEO: Yasuhiro Sato) hosted the first Mizuho Global Council meeting on November 21, 2016, and exchanged opinions with a number of outside experts.
The world's prominent business leaders were invited to discuss global political and economic conditions and latest technology trends such as FinTech, and to provide advice on business strategies.
Facing a significant change in the external environment, Mizuho will continue making the best use of recommendations and proposals from various outside experts in its business, as it aims to become the "most trusted financial services group with a global presence and a broad customer base, contributing to the prosperity of the world, Asia, and Japan."
