Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (President & Group CEO: Yasuhiro Sato) would like to offer its deepest sympathy to those affected by Hurricane Harvey, especially the families of those who lost their lives in this terrible disaster.
Mizuho has decided to donate USD100,000 to Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit organization providing housing to communities affected by the hurricane, for the support of victims and for recovery efforts.
In addition, Mizuho has decided to make a donation of JPY500,000 to the appropriate organization from the Mizuho Charity Fund, which is funded by charitable contribution by Mizuho employees.
