A Comprehensive Business Cooperation Agreement Signed with Shinhan Financial Group Co., Ltd.

Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (President & CEO: Yasuhiro Sato) has signed a comprehensive business cooperation agreement with Shinhan Financial Group Co., Ltd. (Chairman & CEO: Yong Byoung Cho, hereinafter "Shinhan FG"), a major financial group in the Republic of Korea. The agreement was signed to facilitate group–wide business cooperation between the two groups.


Mizuho has collaborated with Shinhan FG in various business fields. Already, Mizuho Bank, Ltd. and Mizuho Securities Co., Ltd. have jointly signed a business cooperation agreement with Shinhan Bank and Shinhan Investment Corp., which are group companies of Shinhan FG. The latest agreement will expand the scope of alliance on a group–wide level, based on which the two groups will explore the possibility of collaboration in new business fields such as FinTech and global business.


Mizuho will make the best of its expanded alliance with Shinhan FG, in order to continue providing customers with high–quality financial services that meet their diversifying needs.
