Mizuho Volunteer Day
Since 2006, Mizuho employees, family members and friends have participated in Mizuho Volunteer Day (MVD), volunteering in their local communities as part of Mizuho's global day of community service. Office staff identify and implement hands–on projects that respond to important community needs, unified worldwide through service.
Each year, MVD volunteers respond with creativity, compassion and commitment to help others worldwide. MVD projects are wide ranging and typically include outreach to vulnerable seniors and children, food and clothing donation drives, environmental clean-ups, and financial education initiatives. Mizuho volunteers continuously generate new and innovative project ideas to meet the ever-changing needs of their local communities.
