What do you do at Mizuho?

I am an HR Generalist supporting both front and back office staff. I am also responsible for Talent Acquisition of full-time hires. In addition, I support and assist with the coordination of our Summer Analyst program.

What surprised you about Mizuho?
I have been pleasantly surprised by the opportunity to learn and grow professionally and personally at such a fast pace. The ability to be involved in many different aspects of HR and my role has enhanced my career. I feel I have grown significantly within my 4 years at Mizuho.

How would you describe Mizuho's culture and people?

Fun fact, I had interned at Mizuho while in college and I always thought I would return to the company, and I did. One reason I wanted to return was because of the people and the culture. Everyone is friendly, respectful and supportive of each other; I think mostly because they enjoy coming to work every day, I know I do. I could not ask for a better team to work with.

What skill or competency do you feel you've enhanced while at Mizuho?

Attention to detail is critical. It demonstrates and reinforces your credibility and work integrity.

What do you do for fun when you're not at work?

Yoga. I find it refreshing. I think it’s important to take the time to focus on your breathing and to clear your mind.
