What do you do at Mizuho?
I work on the ABS Origination team within Mizuho’s Securitized Products Origination group. My team helps our clients raise capital through the issuance of asset-backed securities.

What surprised you about Mizuho?
I’ve been most surprised and impressed by Mizuho's commitment to growing its US platform. Since I started working at Mizuho in 2012, we have made a significant effort to expand our US capabilities and credentials. To me, this effort is best reflected in the quality of colleagues that Mizuho has hired.

What’s a particularly proud moment you’ve had here?
Having been a part of Mizuho's ABS Origination effort since it began in the US, I’m most proud of having helped my team earn its first left lead-managed ABS offering for a US client, in April 2016. The transaction was a milestone for our group and the culmination of a lot of hard work.

What do you do for fun?
I’ve become an avid runner since moving to New York. I love running around different neighborhoods in the city as a means of exploration and finding new restaurants to visit.
