Mizuho Financial Group, Inc. (President & Group CEO: Yasuhiro Sato) was recognized by Daiwa Investor Relations Co., Ltd. ("Daiwa IR") with an Excellence Award at the 2017 Internet IR Awards*. We are pleased to have received an Excellence Award for the third year in a row.
Daiwa IR analyzed and evaluated the websites of 3,735 publically listed companies' websites as part of the selection process for the 2017 Internet IR Awards and then scored them and presented awards to the top companies.
Mizuho was highly evaluated in a broad range of categories including information on our management policy and business plan; our disclosure policy and approach to IR; timely disclosure and press releases; corporate governance initiatives; showing the ways in which we meet environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria; and the ease of use of our website. Our overall high score qualified us for the Excellence Award.
Going forward, we will continue to strive to provide our shareholders, investors, and all other stakeholders with relevant and timely information online in order to facilitate a deeper understanding of our organization. And we will continually work to further enhance the content and delivery of information.
