Structure for promoting respect of human rights
We regularly report our initiatives for respecting human rights to the Board of Directors following discussion at the business execution line (including the Executive Management Committee and the Sustainability Promotion Committee).
Oversight is also provided by the Risk Committee (which makes recommendations to the Board of Directors as their advisory body) and by the Board of Directors.

3. The Environmental and Social Management Policy for Financing and Investment Activity is jointly managed and implemented by the Group Chief Sustainability Officer and the Group Chief Risk Officer.

Policies and guidelines such as those to ensure and maintain a healthy work environment; Mizuho’s Human Resources Policy; the Guidelines to Ensure the Prevention and Elimination of Sexual Harassment; the Guidelines to Ensure the Prevention and Elimination of Power Harassment; and the Guidelines to Ensure the Prevention and Elimination of Harassment related to Pregnancy, Childbirth, Child Care, or Family Care.
